Phil Maguire & Aonghus McEvoy - 'Habitual Syrup' Album Launch

Phil Maguire and Aonghus McEvoy play Anseo to launch their new album 'Habitual Syrup'. Auffthorn joins on the night for a rare live outing.

‘’Habitual Syrup presents guitarist Aonghus McEvoy and synthesist Phil Maguire’s first work as a duo. These duo and solo pieces explore harmony, melody and timbre, pitch and non-pitch, revealing a wealth of detail and variation in often minimal or circular patterns and gestures.’’

Auffthorn is an electronic musician from Dublin, Ireland. In 2022 they released the 5-track CD "Vestigial Wing" on Dublin label wherethetimegoes. On the night, they will be performing new work for trumpet and laptop.
