Queer Shed dlr: Textile Mending

Overview

A community skill sharing event where we get to learn and practice the skill of clothes repair.

We've seen some sweaters that need repairing so come join us to learn how to repair them in UCD Village Meeting Room 5 or online (hybrid)! Our focus will be on sweaters but if you have something specific in mind, please bring it :)

This is a masked event. FFP2 respirator masks will be provided at the venue.

Materials

We'll have some things on hand but please bring along any items that you'd like to repair or materials you'd like to use!

The event will be hybrid with an online option for those who cannot join us in person. We'll have live close ups of any repairs for view on screen as well as in the room itself! The UCD Village is wheelchair accessible with elevator access nearby the room.

For those joining online, captions will be turned on at all times. Image descriptions will also be provided.

Accessibility is built-in to our events as much as we can. That being said, we realise that there may be access barriers we have not yet accounted for.
